I have turned to my Lord for his cleansing
From all of my guilt and each stain;
He has washed me and set my soul singing
The Lord in my heart will remain.

I have turned to my Lord for his healing
of wounds which are hidden within;
He has touched me and brought the restoring
The Lord of all power has come in.

I have turned to my Lord for his leading
To show me his way for each day;
He has proved in his word and his timing
The Lord is the one to obey.

I have turned to my Lord for his strengthening
To face all the pressures of life;
He has given his grace and enabling
The Lord who brings peace in the strife.

I have turned to my Lord for his filling
With love for the whole of my life;
He has poured out his love and his blessing
The Lord, the dear Lord of my life.
