Every child is a gift and every baby is a miracle God has planned for and placed on this earth for a purpose (Psalm 139, Jeremiah 1:5)…we have made this page just to give thanks and recognise the role of God in the life of our baby and our journey to becoming parents.
We found out in 2009 that we had a very low chance of having our own children. After a few more investigations in 2012 we found out that this chance was less that 3% without complex IVF and there were no other treatment options…but we were certain IVF was not God’s specific plan for us so we refused the intervention and began to investigate the adoption process.
In June 2013 Polly was feeling a bit under the weather and after a week without a clear diagnosis she did a test just to eliminate pregnancy from the causes…and found she was 7 weeks pregnant!

On the first of march 2014 at 7:50 April Esther White was born weighing 9lb 9oz. We are so thrilled that she is in the world with us and can’t wait to start life as a family of three.
Thanks to everyone who has supported and prayed for us over the past 5 years in every changing season. We have always known that this was within God’s power, but are still overwhelmed that He has actually involved us in His miracle.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
