This ‘Songs of Praise’ meeting is run jointly between Gateway Church and St Peter’s. In order to give people a rest from non-stop singing they have someone recount a faith story at this point of the meeting. This week Rosi and I read some of the introduction and told the story of the development of the book from a personal journal to a paperback book. Just telling the story provoked a reaction with people sharing their own stories of loss afterwards.
