Creating your celebration

As we work together, the crafting of your celebration will be the main focus of our discussions. It will contain a variety of elements which will each have their part in commending your loved one. Our aim will be to craft an event that will reflect who they are and I will work with you and your family in the selection and ordering of the different facets of the service.

Spoken word elements may be readings, prayers, poems and tributes. We will be making sure that each of these fit well into the service.

Musical elements can be pieces to sit back and listen to or hymns to sing together.

In the links below I’ve given you some ideas to begin with. We can, of course, incude other things you consider to be appropriate.

Readings

Appropriate readings can add a deeper dimension to your service. Here are some you could use

Music

Selecting the right music can express the deeper feelings of the service

Prayers

Prayers can help us to express our deep feelings, even if we are not committed believers

Tributes and eulogies

Paying tribute to the person who has died often reveals more about them than you knew in life.

Service leaflets

What information do you want your mourners and other guests to have. We can help design this.
