Jesus – the supreme example

Things to talk about or reflect on:

  • When we say ‘humility’ who is the first person who comes to mind for you? Talk about what makes him or her spring to mind.
  • Jesus was aware that his glory had been left behind. See what he says in prayer in John 17:1-5 and Paul uses the same idea in 2 Corinthians 8:9
  • These verses may have been an early Christian hymn or poem. Which songs or poems speak to you most deeply about who Jesus is?
